CR Question 1

How do your products use or challenge conventions? How do they represent social issues & groups?

Conventions are the typical things shown in a media product so for my social issue inflantion the actor is a poor man who has difficulty finding a job and in the end is so desprate he robs someone for money so instead of breaking conventions i followed them.

Instead of experimenting with high editing skills and using expensive tools for the shoot i kept everything simple just like anyother music video i had to do this because since i am doing the project solo i had to make sure i knew every basics if every role so i can complete my project in time. I also had low budget since i am the solo person working on this so i had only gotten a some ring lights. Another convention i have decided to follow is that every music video has different locations to keep the music video entertaining so i have used three different locations in my video.

Another convention i have decided to follow is lyric interpretation which is that audiance want to see if the lyrics match the video of the music video and its a popular convention due to it gives audiance a chance to come up with what they think the music video is showing.

After searching for a soical issue i came across a social issue thats isnt used alot often in music vidoes which is inflation which often mostly affects the middle class and the lower class people.
So i thought why not shed some light on this social issue through a music video and i have tried to use as much as conventions i could in a single music video
